Survivors of domestic and sexual violence need your help!

While we are known for providing free and immediate safe sheltering, AVENUES provides so much more:

• All survivors who turn to AVENUES are provided a safe place to talk, share, and find others who have walked a similar path.

• We provide parenting information for those whose children have been victimized or who have witnessed the violence.

• Our Advocates make sure survivors can make police reports, attend court hearings, and file for Orders of Protection.

• We go to the emergency room to provide support, information, and comfort to survivors.

• Some survivors escape with only the clothes on their and their children’s backs. We make sure they have food, clothing, and personal supplies at no cost.

• Those who call our 24-hour hotline experience non-judgmental information and support.

But did you know that AVENUES serves ELEVEN COUNTIES in Northeast Missouri? Our services reach Pike, Ralls, Marion, Lewis, Clark, Schuyler, Knox, Shelby, and Monroe!

Ensuring services to such a large, rural area is a massive undertaking. But the Board, Staff, and Supporters are committed to being available and involved throughout the area.

YOU are an important part of ensuring there are sufficient services to meet such a big need!

Your donations keep our doors open to survivors. Please consider making a monthly or one-time donation. Donations of $100 or more qualify for a Missouri Domestic Violence Tax Credit of 50%. That is in addition to charitable giving tax benefits.

Financial Donations

AVENUES for Northeast Missouri, Inc. is a qualified Domestic Violence Tax Credit entity for financial donations received during State Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024).

We have been issued a designated amount of tax credit allocations for FY2024 and would like to utilize it to benefit our supportive community in Northeast Missouri. There is a minimum annual donation by the contributor of $100.00 in order to participate in this tax credit program.

If you would like to make a financial donation to our agency and receive a tax credit, please send a check to:
